SUMMARY OF CONTENTS

The City Council sponsors for the Citywide Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) text amendment have proposed an amendment to the zoning map to change the zoning classification of properties located within zone districts that would be deleted by the proposed Denver Zoning Code text amendment to allow ADUs citywide. This zoning map amendment proposes to change the zoning classification of all properties that are currently within one of the city’s 16 single-unit ADU districts (districts with a “1” in their name like U-SU-A1) to each zone district’s single-unit counterpart (districts without a “1” in their name, like U-SU-A) because those districts would allow ADUs after adoption of the text amendment.
