A draft of the above-referenced proposed Text Amendment to the Denver Zoning Code and other related information can be found here: http://www.denvergov.org/CitywideADUs.
Note that it is anticipated that City Council members will introduce a related map amendment (rezoning) proposal and a related proposal to amend the text of the Denver Revised Municipal Code (DRMC) prior to the Land Use, Transportation and Infrastructure Committee meeting for this proposed Denver Zoning Code text amendment. These proposals would rezone properties out of Denver Zoning Code districts removed by this proposed text amendment and extend accessory dwelling unit allowances to properties with Former Chapter 59 zoning.
Any questions regarding this amendment may be directed to the Case Manager above or to the City Council office at 720-337-2000.
